The Plexi Shock atelier is in Via Urbana 87 – 88 – 88a, Rione Monti. Rome.
I have dedicated a good part of my life and in particular the last fifteen years to contemporary and experimental jewellery.
This atelier is the result of infinite attention to design and color | pantone (all the colors I use come from Japan, Australia, Canada, USA) and on the materials used in my jewelery (acrylic, acetate, celluloid, formica, lucite). These jewels are eccentric gestures of creativity, an act of intense liberation, they are unthought creatures whose color is matter and whose matter is color. This atelier is unique in Italy and in the rest of the world because it is focused solely on my design and around the ideas, objects and collections that I create.
Plexi Shock is a one-man band that remains a unique and rare case in Italy, completely outside the canons and conventions. And the atelier is the place where this proud artistic and independent reality manifests itself in its concreteness and coherence.
I believe that my jewels seen all together are a hymn to life. A positive and playful and joyful speech. These are non-approved objects, which are difficult to trace back to something approved. With acrylics and polymers I completely challenge the rules of jewelery as well as the “value” of metals. In my collections there is a certain irreverence that is closer to the world of toys than things that take themselves too seriously.
The atelier is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11.30am to 6.55pm.
If you come specifically from another city or another part of the world I recommend you follow our Instagram page where we communicate if there are any setbacks in case the atelier is closed. Thank you.
